Join us for an immersive 3-night mindfulness and self-compassion retreat, designed to help you build a strong foundation of inner calm, resilience, and emotional well-being. Find peace in the beautiful Surrey countryside and reconnect with yourself through mindfulness practices, guided meditation, and deep rest.

What to Expect

  • Peaceful countryside accommodation  Stay in your own comfortable private or shared room within a charming country house surrounded by 13½ acres of peaceful gardens.

  • Small group experience Enjoy a supportive community of just 10–12 retreat participants, creating a warm, personal atmosphere.

  • Nourishing vegetarian meals  Freshly prepared vegetarian cuisine, with vegan and gluten-free options available upon request.

  • Expert guidance Learn from experienced, fully qualified teachers who will gently guide you through mindfulness and self-compassion practices. Expect guided meditations, teaching sessions, mindful walking, and moments of deep silence.

  • Relaxation & rejuvenation Balance structured sessions with free time for rest and reflection. Optional yoga and deep relaxation sessions are available to help you unwind completely.

  • Convenient location Just 45 mins from London, this tranquil retreat offers the perfect opportunity to escape the city and reconnect with nature.

A Typical Day

7.30am – Wake up

8am – Movement and Meditation

8.45am – Breakfast

9.50am – Silence ends, Group meeting

11.30am – Nature Connection activity

12.30pm – Meditation/ Workshop

1.00 Lunch

Personal Time

3.30pm – Optional movement session

5.00pm – Workshop/Teaching

6.00pm – Supper

8.00pm – Guided Relaxation

8.30pm – Silence until the next day

VENUE

The Fintry Retreat House is a beautiful dedicated retreat space created for all those seeking peace and wisdom. The house is a lovely example of early 20th century architecture with stunning wooden features throughout. Their selection of comfortable single rooms is complemented by plenty of tranquil indoor communal spaces. We will be surrounded by 13 1/2 acres of beautiful gardens all set in peaceful countryside.

The nearest station is Godalming (or Witley) which is a 45 minute train ride from London Waterloo followed by a short taxi ride (average cost £15)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Facilitators
