Experience four evenings of mindfulness and journaling, where creativity and awareness merge in a fun and relaxed environment. Each session begins with a gentle guided meditation, setting the stage for a transformative journey into the world of writing.
Engage in various exercises, including free writing techniques, prompts, memory exploration, and direct experience, as we delve into creative writing and personal reflection. We will also explore writing for conflict resolution. Feel free to share your writing with others if you choose,in a supportive and non-judgmental space.
Throughout the course, we will tackle common creativity obstacles, breaking free from overthinking and self-criticism through mindfulness practices. Embrace an attitude of self-compassion, openness, and awareness, allowing writing to become an intimate exploration of the world and a creative sharing of our experiences.
Suitable for all levels of experience, we maintain an intimate group of 6-9 participants, ensuring everyone's voice is heard and valued.
DURING THIS COURSE, YOU'LL BE ABLE TO:

WHAT TO EXPECT
Class activities include guided meditations, writing exercises, group discussions and the option to share your writing with others.
We'll be using the platform zoom. Ethan is an experienced online teacher and we have found that this form offers a beautiful chance for people to connect deeply with the practices and group, but with all the comforts of home. Online we offer the same practices, exercises, and small group work just as you would find on our in-person courses.
Ethan has been facilitating mindfulness groups and retreats for over a decade. He currently teaches mindfulness and Buddhism at the nationally acclaimed Sharpham Trust, and local meditation groups around the UK. He discovered Mindful writing through Courtney Cambell and Natalie Goldberg (author of Writing Down the Bones) He loves to write poetry and help others free their inner artists. His teaching helps people touch more calm and ease in their everyday lives by bringing awareness and appreciation to simple daily activities, retreatants especially love his guided meditations!
